PRAYER

'If God be near a church, it must pray.
And if He be not there, one of the first tokens of his absence will be slothfulness in prayer.‘
Charles Spurgeon.

All that we do at St Michael's is underpinned by prayer.
We have many opportunities to join in prayer together throughout the week.

We are here to pray for you

At many of our services we have a time of Prayer Ministry, where members of our trained Prayer Ministry team will pray for anyone who would like to receive prayer.

Any information you choose to share will be treated in confidence, we can also guide you to further support if needed.

Simply listen for the prompts in the service, or speak to one of the ministry team after the service.

House of Prayer

House of Prayer is an informal time for Christians to meet together to prayerfully seek God. We worship, listen to scripture, exercise spiritual gifts and pray.

Held three times a week via Zoom: Tuesdays at 7.30pm, Thursdays at 7.30pm, Saturdays at 9.30am. The first Saturday of each month we meet in the church at 9.30am for a mixture of prayer and quietly listening for God to speak into our church life.

All are welcome! To join, email: smprayerchain@outlook.com

Email your prayer

Would you like others to pray for you or someone you care about? Email your prayer request and it will be quickly passed round Christians in our worshipping community by email.

Your email prayer request will be read by a trusted member of our church Prayer Team. It will then be passed on to other Christians by email who will pray seriously and treat your personal information in confidence. Your email address details will not be passed on, only the message.

While we try to treat all information in confidence, please consider carefully whether you want to name others or disclose particular details in your email, bearing in mind what is appropriate in terms of sharing personal information.
